Brad has said that insurance found him, not the other way around. In the early years of his career Brad worked as an underwriter St Paul Fire and Marine. Working with Independent Agents made him believe his skill set could cause him to become a successful agent. During his career, Brad has since been affiliated with several Missouri agencies as president, CEO, CFO or a partner.

He has served as chairman of the Missouri Association of Independent Agents and he has chaired their Government Affairs and PAC committees. Currently Brad serves as the Missouri director to the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America board of directors, and serves upon the national Big I Government Affairs committee. Brad is one of four independent insurance agents who sits upon the board of directors for Trusted Choice.

When not talking or thinking about risk management concepts, Brad enjoys time with his family, reading, or sailing in the BVI or Florida Gulf waters.
